Question 1: How did you get into the Industry? |
Ivan Arsic: Hard question really, I've always been interested in Computers and Art, but separately at first. As I saw and realised what can be done with computers and 3D graphics I decided to enter into that "wonderland". |
Question 2: What are you currently working on, if not hush hush? |
Ivan Arsic: In my case, there's no current project. I mean, I have a lot ideas, and sometimes I work on several projects at the same time. So what I am currently working on really depends on mood ... |
Question 3: Which piece of your work is your favourite and why? |
Ivan Arsic: My favourite work is almost everyone up to the last one because I always developing some new techniques and test new ideas ... also every piece of my work has something that makes it favourite ... to me. |
Question 4: Which other 3D artists have impressed you and how? |
Ivan Arsic: Timur Baysal - Taron, Grant Niesner, Steven Stahlberg ... These are all really great 3D artists. Just their work impresses me enough, but those guys helped me a lot as they have given me some instructions on where my mistakes are and so on .. |
Question 5: What 3D ambitions do you hold? |
Ivan Arsic: For now all I really care for is to improve my knowledge, technique etc. ... and in the future, well, who knows !!! |

Alien This is my first character, he is designed by me and my friend. I made him using NURBS patches, and polymodeling (for body muscles only). |

Aquarium Cabinet in the background is real-photo. Aquarium and the desk are CG. All textures for this image are hand painted in Photoshop. |

Mage's Lab I don't know what to say about this picture. Focus was on lighting and faking GI as much as possible ... |
Robot Maybe this is my favourite project. This robot took me the most time to complete but it is also most detailed 3D model I have ever made ...What's interesting about this character is that I had no drawings or sketches, I just made him, part by part, building him, and so on 'til he was finished. |
