| What Inspires You? | I love photorealistic artwork. Anytime I can create an image from pixels that can fool the eye I am happy. I am a writer (novelist, historical thrillers) and find my favorite subjects for my arwork are the characters I am writing about at the moment. |
| How did you Begin? | About 15 years ago someone asked me to figure out how to put clip art into a document. I decided I didn't like the stock clip art, so dove in and learned to make my own. I still don't like stock. My first digital artwork was a simple Christmas Wreath put together in CorelDraw 3. I managed to animate a flickering candle in the middle of it, and sent it out to the web in time for the Christmas 1994, when the web was still a baby. I've stumbled across my little flickering wreath hundreds of times over the years and found it in CD collections of "royalty free" art. (Had I known then what I know now about copyrights. . . ) |
