G3D - Webmaster Just out of interest David, how does Lightwave perform on your machine, window redraw etc. A few people complain of terrible performance with LW7.5.
davidd Really? Not sure if I can answer right as I'm using Nvidia Quaddro, but from my expierence from old iMac with only AtiRage 8MB it works great. Fast subdivisions and bone deform. It's guestion of graphics card, but also I know Macs are not well done for 3D. Didn't try new G5, but G4 with double 1.2GHz and ATIRadeon goes a half fast what my Dell with Xeon2.6 and Nvidia Quaddro do. But be honnest, never heard from LW users that they are not happy with LW speed.
